Gorleston Bandstand Sun, Sandcastles and Solos

GYB Future Brass
6.15 pm.

Weather permitting, members of GYB Future Brass will perform a short, informal end of term Concert on the Rotary Bandstand at Gorleston.
The band will be using some of the new music stands and colourful stand banners purchased thanks to a generous GYBC Queen’s 90th Birthday Grant.

Few of the players have played on a ‘proper bandstand’ before and so they are really looking forward to it.
As well as some of the band member’s favourite pieces the programme will include some solo and duet items, including a Cornet Duet feature performed by our youngest and newest recruits.

All are welcome to come and listen. Bring a Deckchair or Picnic Blanket and a Bucket and Spade!
Why a Bucket and Spade? After the Concert we hope to go onto the beach for some games and a Sandcastle Competition before the band have some well earned refreshments.
If the Weather lets us down and we need to play indoors we will hold the Concert in our normal rehearsal venue Gorleston Baptist Church.
