MUSICAL DIRECTOR VACANCY

Great Yarmouth Brass Band would like to announce an exciting vacancy, the position of Musical Director.

About the Role

We are searching for a Musical Director who can help propel the band forward.

Following our 5th place in the 3rd Section at the London and Home Counties Regional Championship this year, we wish to build on our achievements and continue to progress.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a broad and varied knowledge of music and composition, demonstrating the ability to expertly balance traditional brass band pieces with a modern
brass repertoire.

We would prefer the Musical Director to be available throughout the year, as our engagement calendar is both busy and diverse.

Above all, the successful candidate should be eager to participate in a community focused amateur brass band that brings enjoyment to its members and the wider Great
Yarmouth community.

You will become part of a band that is increasingly recognised in the local area, boasting a dedicated fan base and attracting audiences of 300 or more.

Our concerts are tailored for the community, ensuring that everyone in Great Yarmouth has access to live music and making brass banding accessible to all.

Rehearsals and Contact

Band rehearsals are held every Thursday at the Great Yarmouth Citadel from 19:30 to 21:30.
